Tillamook State Forest seeks input on recreation plan

A final draft of the updated Tillamook State Forest Recreation Plan is now available for public review and comment from the Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF). The deadline for submitting comments is Oct. 25.

Updating the plan has taken nearly a year to complete. Copies of the plan may be requested by contacting John Barnes at the ODF office in Forest Grove at (503) 359-7427 or by visiting the Tillamook State Forest website at www.odf.state.or.us/tsf/tsfhome.

The updated plan, titled "Recreation Action Plan 2000" is a component of a much broader planning process for all state-owned forests in northwestern Oregon.
